has issued a brutal message to the billionaire ahead of this year’s season premiere on Sunday.
During an appearance on
Nova 96.6’s Fitzy & Wippa with Kate Ritchie
, Scott had some choice words for Adrian after Wippa asked, “Scotty, Adrian Portelli… is he no longer going to purchase at The Block in a chance to give other people a crack at it?”
Scott responded, saying, “To be honest we said to Adrian, ‘We’d love you not to come next year, if that’s all right. You know it’s up to you, it’s a public auction. You can do whatever you want.’ He said, ‘Yeah, okay, [I] won’t come’, but he may come. We don’t know, but we do want to give mums and dads the opportunity to have a crack at a Block house…and if Adrian comes and wants to buy the lot of them, well, that rules them out.”

He added, “We just said, ‘Mate thank you. You’ve been an incredible patron of our show. Would you mind having a rest?'”
Wippa joked, “Take a year off, son!”
“Hopefully we get a few buyer’s advocates that come and are representing people, families. So hopefully they turn up and have a bit of a crack this year.”
The Block’s Adrian Portelli to sell staggering $15 million investment
It comes after Adrian announced that he is
trying to sell the entire Phillip Island compound
that he purchased last year to a single buyer.
Adrian took Instagram in June, seemingly in the hopes that one of his followers might take all of the properties off his hands.
He wrote: “For sale. EOI – The Phillip Island Block resort, selling complex complete. Everything included. Will not sell houses separately.”
Adrian later took to Instagram to share a video from what looks like Italy’s Lake Como, saying, “House shopping day. Admittedly the views are much better here than Phillip Island.”
The billionaire made history last year when he bought every single house on the show for $15.03 million. He said at the time that it was his last year that he would be a buyer on the show, so he wanted to go out with a bang.

In December, Adrian gave people the chance to win the entire compound by entering his LMCT+ giveaway. Winners could choose to walk away with the entire resort, or $8m cash tax-free.

Adrian revealed that Ballarat resident and healthcare worker Holly won the giveaway, choosing to take the money instead.
He had initially said he would likely keep the residences for himself and hold events there, but it appears he is now keen to offload them to one buyer.
